What is Precision Dry Needling
My vision with Precision Dry Needling is to simply provide a platform to deliver high-quality advice and evidence of some of the latest research and breakthroughs in the fields of sports medicine, exercise, nutrition, and physical health optimization, and to share some of the things I have learned that have added tremendous benefit to my life. I also want to be a resource for those who are seeking a healthcare professional who has experience treating musculoskeletal dysfunctions and have an interest in 1-on-1 personalized exercise/rehab consulting or dry needling services.

I am passionate about finding every way possible to optimize how the human body can function. Whether that is through exercise, nutrition, supplementation, or DRY NEEDLING! Through my undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, I became fascinated in biomechanics, physiology, and applied anatomy. I gained experience working with Division 1 athletes in the rehab and sports medicine setting. I furthered my education in exercise by obtaining my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification and utilize this by training clients. I attended Doctoral of Physical Therapy school at South College in Knoxville, TN. I began my career as a Physical Therapist at Appalachian State University working with an array of athletes and various post-operative conditions. I have worked in gyms, athletic training rooms, sports fields, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and patient's homes. I currently practice as a Physical Therapist at Alcoa Chiropractic Center in Blount County, TN. While physical therapy is my area of expertise, it would be short-sighted to ignore the role of quality nutrition and proper supplementation when it comes to the management of any athletes or musculoskeletal dysfunctions. I enjoy the challenge of exploring how all of these in conjunction can further optimize our lives each and every day. When I am not working, I spend as much time outdoors as possible mountain biking, hiking, golfing, snow skiing, fishing, weightlifting, or yard-work.
