Elbow & Hand
We have 27 bones in our hand and 2 in our forearm. We have various ranges of motion available in the hand and supination & pronation at the wrist and elbow extension & flexion.

We have a mixture of type 1 & type 2 fibers in the muscles supporting these joints. So when considering how training these joints shoulder look, we want to utilize a combination of heavy loads, as well as longer, sustained holds where the joints are having to maintain stability.
If we think about how our elbow, wrist, and hand are involved in most of our activities or exercises, they are often not isolated without shoulder and scapular movements so it is essential to consider and train these joints in conjunction.
